- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Pheasant Hill Farm is by far one of the best places to visit and get local product from. Everything is beautiful, from the colours of the birds to the colours of the flowers. The owners have all their licences and health inspection certificates on display and run a fun, family oriented business. The food is deliscious and is full of flavour! The summer sausage is my favourite! It is so nice to walk on a farm with free range birds that you can witness their natural habitat and living. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I've never been so misled ever. Amazing pictures one good review so my husband and I went to check out this phesant farm. ..unexpected I must say. We showed up and I couldn't believe I thought maybe it was under new owners. But no . The animals were extremely dirty covered in fescies there was a dead bird on the lane way two other birds were pecking at. I noticed all the water dishes were dry . The lady owner was very racist telling us about a bunch of what she called chinKS that showed up and disrespected the property tromping down her flowers and that's why it looked dishubbled. She was trying to keep us from the one pen I'm not sure what was in there. When we asked to see some meat she went to a large freezer over filling with what I believe is freezer burned food . We said thanks but we were done. She got extremely angry and said we shouldn't waste her time. Anyone who plans on visiting should show up unexpected as we did. And you could see for yourself. is this actually the standards that are acceptable for what they call farm fresh.By Sue Lockler, August 08, 2016
