  Used to live in Owen Sound years ago, recently came down for a weekend with my girlfriend & decided to go to the theatre one night. It's a shame that this theatre hasn't upgraded at all since the last time I was here 4 years ago. Went to late night show to watch "Get Out", Ticket Purchase Kiosk wasn't working (Not reading Scene Card); had to go to Food Vendor for tickets. There is no Butter Machine for popcorn, so you have to rely on the butter you get from the vendor. Had to wait about 20min to get into the movie as our screening was being "cleaned" which was an annoyance standing outside waiting. The same old chairs, somewhat comfy but not the best compared to other theatres. Its a standard theatre, nothing special & far from the best. Source: I go to the theatre every weekend; been to plenty all over Ontario.

  Good location, great parking, but crappy seating (too narrow and quite uncomfortable for a long movie). Cost of concession offerings the usual exorbitant pricing that seems to have become industry standard.

  Poor, No ticket kiosks... no signage to suggest tickets at food booth.. About 6 lineups.. very slow moving.. Finally get service.. asked for our tickets... then we asked for two smoothies...told "no..." we'd have to go to another line... after about 1/2 hour so far...we're not happy to wait another 1/2 hour.. I asked to speak with the manager... Absolutely no help... more or less told "too bad...."... there were likely 6 ways to solve what was really a small problem.. or even just some token to acknowledge such poor service.. and maybe some reassurance that at least the kiosk issue would be resolved... Maybe even a bit of acknowledgement that the counter staff were doing their best under poor circumstances.. Sorta reinforces the notion that this company is ONLY concerned with profitability.. no regard for staff and not empowering the managers.. The snacks are not really an issue. It's the poor attitude and high cost.. A shame...
