  Great prices, usually staff is way more friendly than they were tonight. I ordered the hot beef sandwich and it was literally ice cold except in the very middle. I did eat it anyway though!!! Would have been delicious if it was warm!!!!

  Love the 1950's diner decor. Staff is friendly - always give someone new the benefit of the doubt. We enjoy the food here, just make sure you're not in a rush - most times it's worth the wait. Portions are a great size and their milkshakes are a traditional treat on the way home - those are a meal in themselves!!

  Before I go and try a new place, it's always good to read the reviews. So I did with Elsie's Diner. I read some good and not so good reviews but decided to try it out. Well, the one review that Megan Heathers wrote had some similarity to our experience at the diner. The diner was clean and has a great atmosphere, new waitress was friendly, the menu was fun, the milk shakes were great, then our food was served. The food was hot and cooked. The one order was great but the second order had a long strand of hair in the fries. That was a turn off. Sitting there looking at the order of food I remembered about the review I read. Obviously there is a problem with hair being in the food and hopefully Elsie's Diner will correct this problem immediately. I can see they want that 50"s 60's atmosphere with the waitresses having their hair up in a pony tail but I think it would be best to put their hair into hair nets. You take a chance going there in my opinion, so Good Luck!
